The 2024 CPRE Rutland AGM will invite its members to strengthen their corporate identity and local accountability by approving  the creation of a new charitable entity to be known as the Rutland and Stamford Countryside Charity  (RSCC).

RSCC will continue to act as the Rutland Branch of the Campaign to Protect the Rural Environment (CPRE) The new  entity will align its boundary with the new Rutland constituency to be implemented by the Boundary Commission. All present and future CPRE funds will be ring fenced.

It is anticipated that the RSCC will stimulate new interest in local countryside protection matters and attract new funding. Collaboration with county quarry, renewable energy, transport and affordable housing groups is planned.
